FACT: The Simpsons Movie is in production by a staff that is working on the movie and the show at the same time. This was clarified by many of the shows producers and Nancy Cartwright in a recent article here.

FACT: The contract signed by The Simpsons stars included that there could be two feature films.

The Simpsons Movie will be released after the show has run its course. (The staff has hinted this, but since the show keeps on moving forward they are not sure.)

FACT: As of 2005 there is no title or release date.

FACT: According to James L. Brooks, the main purpose of the film is going to be to tell a story that deserves a full-length film.

FACT: The original members of the production team when the show started (including creator Matt Groening) aswell as other producers and writers will reunite to make
the film.

Fact:Matt Groening tried to put every Simpsons character into the movie, 94 of them have speaking parts.
