Bart becomes an exchange student and goes to France where two winemakers work him very hard. Adil, the Albanian student who takes Bart's place is actually a spy trying to steal secerts from The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

Bart learns enough French to tell authorities what is happening to him and he come home a hero.


  • The "excellent" from Mr. Burns comes from James Downey.
  • Adil Hoxha was a fictional name created by the writers and then after the show went into production the writers found out Hoxha was the last name of the current Albanian president.
    The American Flag in the auditorium is hanging the wrong way.
  • The writers used an Albanian student to pay homage to John Belushi who was Albanian.
