Marge asks Homer to help find Selma a boyfriend. When Homer meets with Principal Skinner, he feels that Principal Skinner would be perfect for Selma. Principal Skinner agrees to meet Selma except he accidentally falls in love with Patty. Patty likes Principal Skinner but decides to give him up for her sister.

Notes: This episode was chosen for Valentine's day.

  • The bell tower of Springfield Elementary is usually not there.
    Trivia:
  • This episode's airdate (2-14) is the same as its number (214).
  • The ending of the Alfred Hitchcock film, Vertigo is very similiar to the scene where Principal Skinner runs up the tower of Springfield Elementary.
