Kent Brockman

Kent Brockman plays the character of the local TV news reporter and anchorman. He hosts the weekday news on Channel 6(KBBL-TV), Smartline and Eye On Springfield. Kent's character is shown as the average anchorman who's willing to get every piece of news avaliable, and milk it as much as he can. He also comes across as judgmental.

Brockman often butts heads with the traffic reporter, Arnie Pie. Both men have criticized each other's ways of reporting. Kent has also swore several times on television, which half the time cost him his job. His most recent stint was mainly spotted by Ned Flanders, which was deemed a "superswear" and afterwards Kent was demoted to weatherman. Later on, he got his job back with a raise.
